“Who is Shardae?” - Ashley Shardae is the founder of Shardae’s Sweets. Her middle name was inspired by the Nigerian-British singer, Sade Adu (pronounced Shah-Day). Sade is a woman of elegance, grace, and class, and that’s exactly what Shardae’s Sweets strives to embody.

By day, Ashley balances a full-time career in Client Success/Sales Ops & Strategy in the TV advertising industry. By night (weekends) she is a part-time, self-taught baker with a passion for creating delicious and beautiful desserts that are perfect for any occasion. Ashley has always had a passion for baking, with cookies and brownies being her first love in the kitchen. Over the past year, she has channeled that passion into the art of cake design, discovering a new way to blend creativity and flavor. Though relatively new to cakes, Ashley’s dedication to mastering her craft and delivering beautifully crafted, delicious creations has quickly become the foundation of her growing cake business.
